Abstract

The article analyzes the influence drug-induced denervation of the sinus node on electrocardiographic and electrophysiological indices of the cardiac conduction system in 137 patients with isolated atrial fibrillation. The research data indicate that the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system play an important role in induction, persistence and termination of isolated atrial fibrillation.

Key words

denervation, sinus node, atrial fibrillation.
